Squad 31 – Technical Rescue & Fire Suppression Unit
Squad 31 serves as the primary apparatus for vehicle and technical rescue incidents. This multipurpose vehicle combines the capabilities of a structural firefighting pumper and a rescue truck. Designed with a focus on vehicle accidents and vehicle fires, Squad 31 carries a full complement of battery powered rescue tools, stabilization equipment, and Class B foam for flammable liquid fires. It also supports fireground operations and can serve as a secondary engine.

As a hybrid apparatus, Engine 31 is fully capable of structural firefighting when needed. During rural incidents, it plays a critical role in tanker shuttle operations that require precise coordination between fill and dump sites.
